Garageband is a totally new program to me. It is available on Mac computers. I found Garageband to be a lot of fun. This program allows for you to create a piece of music using many different instruments, rhythms, and beats.

In my classroom I would use Garageband in a music class. This activity would fit into a Grade 3 Arts Education class under the Music strand. I would have students break up into groups of three. They would be asked to explore and produce a piece of music. Then when the class is finished we could put all of the pieces together. I think my students would really enjoy this activity.
