Digital Imaging is when you upload pictures off a digital camera and save them onto your computer. When photos are on the computer, you can crop and edit them. Photos can be used for a variety of things like portfolios, PowerPoint presentations, or just to edit them. Here is an example of my Digital Imaging PowerPoint
I would use digital imaging in a Grade 4 Arts Education Class (Visual). I would have the students create digital portfolios of their work. The student would take pictures of the artwork they created, their dance, drama, and music components of their class. I would not allow the students to take photos of themselves but only of their work. Their digital portfolios will be documentations that they created and will be able to show their friends and families. I think this is a good idea because the students will want to try harder because they will be taking photos of their work and their family will be looking at it.
